The town of EBONE is located in the MOUNGO department, Littoral region. It is bounded to the north by the district municipality of Nkongsamba 3rd, to the south by the town of LOUM, to the east by the district of Nkongsamba 1st and to the west by the town of MANJO. It is crossed from east to west by the national road n ° 5 which must be traveled for 10 km from NKONGSAMBA to access the commune of EBONE.

Created on April 24, 1995 by presidential decree N ° 95/082 establishing the new communes, the commune of EBONE has an area of approximately 140km2, it extends between 9 ° 51 'and 9 ° 30' of East longitude and between 4 ° 57 'and 4 ° 51' North latitude. It has 20 villages and 03 urban spaces. These three urban spaces are subdivided into 23 districts namely: 07 districts in NDOUNGUE (NDIANGMBENG, ELO'OM, EKÉLLÉ, EKANGTÉ, EKAKA, NDOUNGUE-Bang, KOÏ-MBENG); 07 neighborhoods in EBONE (EKOMKOH, EBONEMBENG, EKOMBENG, EBONEKOH, NTAMAKOH, MBAKA, EYANGMBENG) and 09 neighborhoods in MANENGOLE (MANDJAM, NGANGO, KEM, EBAKOH, ELON, NLOK, EBANGTE-BAHILEE, BASSBWAELTE), These different units are grouped in 02 cantons namely the BALONDO canton and the BAKAKA canton.
